Wide-format printer manufacturer Agfa Graphics, based in Belgium but with U.S. operations in Elmwood Park, New Jersey, announces that it has been recognized as Independent Printers Worldwide‘s (IPW) Vendor of the Year.

IPW is a national procurement group specializing in vendor programs for independent printers. It has more than 256 members in North America and Agfa Graphics has been its strategic partner since its founding. The company works with IPW’s management team to create, implement and communicate programs that bring valuable, new procurement solutions to members. Agfa is a founding member of IPW’s Platinum Elite Group.

IPW specifically cited Agfa’s assistance in helping its members drive out waste in production, improve productivity and, for those looking to diversify, make the shift from traditional printing to digital inkjet printing.

In addition to his company receiving Vendor of the Year honors, Steve Musselman, Agfa’s senior corporate account executive, was recognized with the Daniel Guinette Memorial National Account Manager of the Year-2017 award. The awards were handed out during a special ceremony held at the IPW Presidents’ Meeting in Chicago.

“Your steadfast support of IPW and your leadership role in preserving and promoting the landscape of independent printing while bringing unparalleled value to our members make these awards well-earned and well-deserved,” IPW’s founder and president/CEO, Dan Bendele, said in presenting the awards. “We congratulate Agfa and Steve for their hard work and dedication to IPW.”
