Mississauga, Ontario, Canada-based Advanced, a designer and installer of digital signage and audio/visual technology that primarily serves the corporate, education and government sectors, announces the addition of two to its integration team.

Scott Murray Anderson has been named to the position of system programmer and senior AV specialist, and Daniel Heald has been named project manager.

Anderson is a certified Crestron programmer with more than seven years experience in the field of audio visual equipment, installation and service. Previously, he was programmer/integration manager at SDMA Custom Audiovisual where he was responsible for automation programming in various deployments, as well as on-site and off-site project management. Anderson is a TCE1 Cisco Certified Engineer Level 1, with earned certifications in Crestron CTI P101, CTI P201, and DM-D 4K. He is also a Crestron Partner with access to all of their services, and is a member of the Toronto Carpenters Union. In addition to his Crestron expertise, Anderson has mastered solutions by manufacturers such as Biamp, QSC, BrightSign and more.

Daniel Heald is returning to Advanced after serving as the senior installation technician and site lead at Genesis Integration. Before that, Heald worked at Advanced as an AV technician for three years and a contract technician for one year. Heald has earned many certifications in Extron XTP-T, Crestron CTI-Fusion-P, Crestron DMC-T-4K, Crestron CTI-P301 Advanced Programming Skills, SynAudCon, and Biamp Tesira’s line of products.

According to Advanced’s president, David Weatherhead, the two new hires are in direct response to the company’s steadily increasing number of integration projects.

“This year we have seen substantial growth on the integration side of our business,” Weatherhead stated. “That’s why Advanced is investing in industry experts that can guarantee the highest level of customer satisfaction and successful project implementation. We welcome Daniel and Scott to the team, and look forward to their contributions.”

Aside from its Ontario headquarters Advanced has its U.S. headquarters in Orlando, Florida.
