3M Welcomes New Pattern Designer to its PPF Division

Along with his skills in design, Regan Brunner also brings his sales experience and installation talents to 3M.

St. Paul, Minnesota-based 3M announces Regan Brunner as the newest pattern designer for the company’s Pattern and Solutions Center and its Paint Protection Film program.

Brunner most recently worked as one of XPEL‘s lead Design Access Program product design managers. According to his new company, “his naturally acquired artistic aptitudes allowed him to become one of best pattern designers in the industry. Over eight years, Regan enhanced and refined his installation techniques to design pattern templates that provided the most optimal fit on vehicles.”

Brunner will be relocating to Dallas, where he will also be the 3M sales representative for the Texas and Oklahoma markets, working with the local 3M authorized distributor, Accent Distributing, to support growth in the installer and dealership customer base.

Along with his skills in pattern design, Brunner also has experience training installers.

“I have become highly proficient in determining how the properties of paint protection film dictate designing patterns to better fit the contours of a vehicle,” Brunner says. “I’m eager to work with the latest Scotchgard Pro Series film to further develop the 3M pattern design philosophy with the already experienced 3M global team.” 

Over the last year 3M’s team has added more than 350 new patterns, refined hundreds of current patterns and nearly doubled production, the company says. It has also added more than 25 full vehicle patterns in 2018.
