Ricoh USA Appoints Tokunaga as President and CEO
Ricoh USA names Joji Tokunaga as president and CEO of Ricoh in the Americas.
MALVERN, Pa.-Ricoh USA names Joji Tokunaga as president and CEO of Ricoh in the Americas. Tokunaga takes the helm after serving in various executive and managerial capacities at the company.
“Ricoh’s global transformation is not only on the path to success, but it’s one that has encouraged us to take a look back at our history of innovation,” states Tokunaga. “Throughout our more than 80 years, we have brought industry firsts to market that still today remain key business tools to help people share information and ultimately work smarter.”
As president and CEO, Tokunaga spearheads the company’s North American team growth strategy efforts for customers and dealer partners. With the appointment, Glenn Laverty remains as senior vice president of Ricoh Americas marketing and president CEO of Ricoh Canada and reports to Tokunaga.
Tokunaga comes to the role with more than 30 years of sales, marketing, and management leadership. Prior to his appointment, Tokunaga served as general manager of shared services at Ricoh Americas where he oversaw departments such as human resources, finance, legal, supply chain, customer administration, and marketing. He also holds experience as executive vice president and deputy general manager of shared services of Ricoh Americas.
