IRVING, Texas-OKI Data Americas exhibits its digital transfer technology at the National Association of College and University Mail Services (NACUMS) conference and exhibition in New Orleans. The event took place July 15-18 at the city’s Astor Crown Plaza hotel.
Arthur Verwey, senior marketing manager for OKI Data Americas, demonstrated the company’s technology for attendees. Verwey explains that the demonstration helped attendees understand the versatility of digital textile transfer technology for printed apparel.
“A lot of schools and university in-plants are looking for ways to diversify and for ways to expand the business within the organization,” says Verwey. “(Schools) need shirts every day for fundraisers, sporting events, new student enrollment, and sport team uniforms.”
Verwey also demonstrated how the company’s technology offers options for printing on light and dark apparel, as well as hard goods.
Based on the positive feedback at the event, the company says it plans to return to next year’s NACUMS conference.
