SUWANEE, Ga.-Mimaki USA opens doors on its new Midwest Region Technology Center. The new facility is located in Franklin, Wisconsin, a suburb of nearby Milwaukee.

Lead by Mimaki regional manager Ross Esenberg, the 16,585-square-foot facility boasts sales, support, and service teams, as well as a “hands-on experience,” the company states. The Wisconsin hub offers visitors an inside look at Mimaki’s product developments in categories such as digital inkjet printing technology, dye sublimation, and UV-curable printing. The location also features a showroom with samples of finished goods produced with the company’s technologies.

“This technology center will make it easier for existing and prospective customers in the Midwest, one of the country’s strongest printing corridors, to see our newest and most innovative digital inkjet printing solutions in action,” says Scott Champeau, general manager at Mimaki USA. “It will serve to support our dealers in the Midwest U.S., as well as train and inspire end users within that region.”

The technology center sits roughly 15 minutes from Milwaukee’s General Mitchell Airport and replaces Mimaki’s previous Midwest location in Schaumburg, Illinois which closed in April 2018.
