Lago Apparel Expands with Ontario Location
Lago Apparel announces the opening of a new location in Bracebridge, Ontario.

LANGLEY, British Columbia-Lago Apparel announces the opening of a second location. The British Columbia-based company adds a new facility in Bracebridge, Ontario.
Co-owner Rick Kish says the new facility parallels Lago’s more than 30 years in the industry. The business itself has changed a lot since its start, he points out.
“When we first started we were just a sales agency,” states Kish, adding that over time Lago transitioned into manufacturing and eventually to the apparel and souvenir markets.
Kish explains that the addition of the 20,000-square-foot location accounts for company growth and meets the demand for Lago’s customers in eastern Canada. Situated Canada’s Muskoka region, Bracebridge has a built-in tourism market that pairs well with the company’s imprinted souvenir expertise.

With the new hub, the company provides local pickup and faster deliveries to urban centers like Toronto, Niagara Falls, and beyond. This also helps reduce freight costs for Lago. In addition to shipping and distribution, the new location features a customer service office, screen-printing production, embroidery department, and a retail store acquired from local company Woods Clothing in the front for walk-in clients.
“We’re looking forward to being able to service our customers in (eastern Canada) a lot quicker, and saving them money on freight costs which ultimately helps save the environment,” says Kish.
Lago Apparel holds a grand opening at the Ontario branch on May 26 featuring Bracebridge mayor Graydon Smith.
The facility is located at 570 Ecclestone Drive, Bracebridge, Ontario.
