Lisa Mendoza was a first-time attendee to THE NBM SHOW in Long Beach last summer, and she’ll be back again this August.

Adding to her excitement was the fact that she took home $500 in Buyer Bucks, which are given out every day of THE NBM SHOW. In Mendoza’s case, that bought her two to three months of supplies, including coffee mugs, transfer paper, and dye-sublimation inks.

“I loved it,” Mendoza says of her first-time experience. “It was great. Everybody was very helpful. It got me excited to try new things.”

Mendoza operates a home-based business with her husband called Fleetline Fine Art. In business for a couple of decades, Mendoza takes her husband Julian’s fine art paintings and applies them to coffee mugs. More products may come in the future, she says, and THE NBM SHOW helped her imagine the possibilities.

Each day of the show, one lucky winner is chosen to take home $500 as part of the Buyer Bucks program in each city. The money can be spent with any exhibitor at the show, and winners don’t need to be present to claim their prize. The only caveat is that winners must spend the money with an exhibitor of their choice within 45 days.

THE NBM SHOW has seven more cities lined up for 2018. The next stop is Sacramento, California, April 13-14. The show is a great chance to network and meet with manufacturers and suppliers in the apparel decoration, sign and digital graphics, and awards and engraving industries. Attendees can also explore opportunities in new markets, broaden prospects, and boost their business.
