What should I consider when sandcarving delicate substrates?

When working with delicate substrates, make sure you keep a clean, sand-free work space. When masking the substrate, use a lint-free towel to set the crystal on to avoid any sand scratching the surface. Make sure you clean the substrate with running water after blasting. There will always be some excess abrasive under the folds of the tape, which can easily scratch the surface if you’re not careful.
