What challenges can sandcarving present?

To get sandcarving right, you need to understand your machine, your masks, and your artwork. If you create a mask with artwork that isn’t correct or etchable, it can lead to over-blasts and blow outs. If the fonts in your artwork are too small, you won’t be able to read the words. If you start etching with these issues, it’s entirely possible that you’ll ruin the object.
