What can a business do to gain media coverage for an event or special that they are holding?

Today we have access to a powerful tool with social media that can share a message quickly to many people. You can pay for advertising on Facebook, but you can also gain media coverage by encouraging your followers on social media to share and interact with your business regarding your event. Also, you can share your post to your community and neighborhood groups or to the groups your customers will be located at.

Another tool you have access to with social media is video. Do a Facebook Live to generate excitement of what’s to come with your event. Tell your listeners why you are doing this and make it something they can connect with and generate interest that way.
