UV-LED Ink for Soft Versus Hard Substrates

What should decorators be aware of when dealing with different types of ink and substrates?

One of the great advantages of UV printing is its ability to handle different kinds of materials. For different materials, use the proper ink according to the applicable materials to reach the desired quality of printing result; soft UV ink for flexible materials like leather and vinyl, and hard UV ink for rigid objects like acrylic, wood, and stone.

Soft ink and hard ink cannot be mixed together as the composition is different; therefore, users need to either own two printers, one for soft ink and the other for hard ink, or change ink every time you use different materials. Please note: Certain inks available are able to deal with both flexible and rigid materials. Do your research and consult your manufacturer to explore these options.
