Life in general dictates that a business’ image is important, no matter the industry it represents. I personally feel that as designers and apparel decorators, our own images should be spectacular. They need to reflect our artistic talents and present our businesses in a stunning and creative way.
Check on all of your social media accounts and consider using the same profile picture on each for consistency and recognition across multiple platforms. Also, make sure your cover photos and business descriptions are up to date, alarmingly effective, and ready to grab your target audience for the year.
Standard image sizes for major social networks are as follows:
Facebook profile picture: 180 X 180 pixels
Facebook cover photo: 851 X 315 pixels
Twitter profile photo: 400 X 400 pixels
Twitter header image: 1,500 X 500 pixels
Google+ profile picture: 250 X 250 pixels (minimum)
Google+ cover photo: 1080 X 608 pixels
LinkedIn profile photo: 400 X 400 pixels (minimum)
LinkedIn custom background: between 1000 X 425 and 4000 X 4000
LinkedIn logo: 400 X 400 pixels
LinkedIn banner image: 646 X 220 pixels
With some basic image editing, you’ll ensure your profile is consistent and professional across all platforms.
