Knowing your market is critical, yet it takes time, experience, and focus, especially when you are new to the business or to a marketplace. I have added product lines and purchased inventory for products that just never really developed much of a demand in my marketplace. We all have an inventory of products that sit on the shelves with little demand for them. It’s part of gaining market experience.
