Inspecting Your Laser System’s Power Cord
Make sure to do this before running any tests.
The laser is not only prone to wear and tear, but the movement of objects around it, which can damage the power cord. Begin an inspection or maintenance by turning off the laser and unplugging it. Then check the power cord to make sure the wire is not cut or frayed, and the metal plug connectors are not bent or broken. Replacing the power cord is inexpensive and can save the laser operator from the shock of their lives or a costly fire. Perform this same inspection on your exhaust pump motor or filtering system in use with your laser.
