At the beginning of each season, most teams typically order a large number of bows that match their team colors and the theme of their major competitions. Here’s how to market and sell these popular items that are an essential piece of a cheerleader’s uniform:

Marketing: Gym owners and coaches usually pick out the designs and order the bows. Since large gyms have websites and Facebook pages that make it easy to get in touch with them, setting up an appointment to meet and show samples to the primary buyer should be straight forward. Be sure to bring samples with you.

Selling: For middle and high school teams, the coaches are the ones who choose and order the bows. Calling the school and getting an email address would be the best way to go about contacting them. Cheer bows sell from a low of $15 to as much as $40 depending on how great they look and who you are selling to.
