Guidelines for Purchasing Sublimation Equipment

Purchasing the right heat press and printer upfront is an important decision to make.

Two of your sublimation business’s biggest purchases are a heat press and printer. That’s why purchasing the right equipment upfront is an important decision to make. Not only will it save you time and money, but a massive amount of frustration from a machine that doesn’t live up to the standard of quality and reliability you need. When looking for these sublimation components, I recommend you:

  • Seek out U.S.A.-made, as they tend to be higher quality.
  • Avoid unbranded presses, which more often show signs of cold spots and bad wiring, and may not include instructions.
  • Buy the largest heat press you can afford because as your business grows, you won’t want to have to repurchase a new one.
