5 Quick Tips to Staying Sane During the Holidays

Reenergize, reprioritize, and reorganize

  1. Say, No?You may feel the need to give your time right now, but you don’t have to. Decide what you will and will not spend time on and stick to it. Once you have decided what’s important to you this holiday season, stick to your priorities.
  2. Make client gift shopping simple. Use jigs to make sublimated products in bulk with a special design thanking your clients for their loyalty. We suggest coasters, bag tags, and ornaments for holiday gifts.
  3. Be selective about events. Do you really have to attend every holiday party? This time of the year is ideal for getting friends and families together, but don’t force yourself to attend every gathering when you need a little R&R or when you’re trying to wrap up last-minute orders.
  4. Stop and breathe. Sometimes you just have to know when to stop! A quick break and a deep breath can help you refocus your energy and determine where you want to spend your time next.
  5. Clean and organize. In the midst of all the busyness of the season, taking a few minutes to clean and organize your space as you work will help keep your mind clear and focused. It doesn’t have to take long-five minutes here and there is all it takes to straighten your surroundings and make it nicer to come back to the space for the next task. Also, check your supplies ahead of time to order extra heat tape, sublimation paper, etc. to be ready for all the holiday orders.
